Biography of Lucy

Lucy first worked as a secretary in London after doing a secretarial course. She worked for an International Property Developer for a while and then worked as a PA for a company which organised conferences. It was during this time she became interested in floristry.

Lucy undertook floristry training and got a job in a local florists but it wasn't until she moved down to Rye 15 years ago that she started up her floristry proper. She had a flower shop for several years and then, ten years ago, she set up the cafe and florists shop that is Cafe des Fleurs, next to Rye Station.
