HerStory: Wendy Goodsell

Biography of Wendy

Wendy Goodsell works as a full time Senior Project Worker for adults with learning disabilities in Hastings; focusing on enabling people to achieve their ambitions, to learn new skills and to make new friends. She lives with her husband in Westfield surrounded by fields and forests and is a hands on grandmother to her three young grandchildren. Wendy's passion is all about conservation and teaching by example to all her family, to groups of children and adults, to be custodians of the the planet 'to percerve it, and all its wonderful creature inhabitants for furure generations."
 
Despite some serious bouts of cancer she has just completed her level 3 in Marine Biology and is starting, at this time of writing, 2 more diplomas on Oceanography and Earth Science. She completed level 3 as a Wild Beach Team Leader and is a voluntary Water Safety Advisor with the RNLI.
