Biography of Stacey

Stacey Caister runs Splitz Dance Academy in Rye. She runs classes in ballet, modern and tap. She started the school in 2009. The school started small but has grown and grown. There are now around 200 pupils. They do a show every other year and show at local dance festivals.

She has always lived in Rye and her first job was as a waitress at weekends

She started dancing when she was two years old and knew by the age of 12 that she wanted to be a dance teacher, and was running her own classes at the age of 13/14.

Covid was difficult for the Dance Academy. Stacey ran classes online via Zoom, and she and her staff also did classes outside.

She loves working with children and seeing them grow. Some are now at London stage schools.
